Our Community

Our target communities are urban areas within Nakawa and Kampala at large. Many of the urban dwellers are poor, live in makeshift settlements, and do odd jobs which don’t bring in a good income. There are also many youth who are uneducated and unskilled so they end up being jobless, and some are involved in crime as a way to survive.

We also have many women who are heading homes due to the absence of their husbands for various reasons. Some of these women are vendors, work in markets, stone quarries and elsewhere so as to survive and care for their families.

All these are vulnerable and need a hand-up in various ways so as to improve their quality of life.
